Silversmithing and Repair:

MONSEN specializes in customized metal repair. Our customers find that most broken objects are repairable, and MONSEN uses many different techniques to fix the most complicated jobs. Missing parts are replicated by lost wax casting, silicone rubber molds, machining, spinning and hand forming.   

In our repair department, we carry all sizes and shapes of dyes, hammers, and dent removal tools. A typical repair job consists of stripping and cleaning the metal, removing any dents, reproducing missing parts, and any items that need soldering are repaired, polished and replated. Because of MONSEN'S expertise in custom repair, most of our work comes from the Bay Area's museums, antique lamp shops, fine jewelry stores, architects, piano tuners, plumbers and most households.
