Journeyman metal polisher position is needed to join a journeyman plater in a 2-person partnership in a small, custom, high-end silver, brass plating job shop in the San Francisco bay area. Starting pay is $20 hour (with paid bonus can average $20-$30 or more per hour), plus health insurance, paid vacation. Owner is retiring. The shop has nice equipment with large polishing room and new vari-speed lathes. Our business refinishes silver, brass, gold, copper, nickel, pewter, patinas and many different finishes. Our clients are contractors, designers, decorators, architects, home owners.
